I always like Dean Koontz. You will never be bored when he tells a story; this is quite a page-turner.

All the Way Home
Fiction by Ann Tatlock.

This is a wonderful book about a pair of little girls, one Japanese and one Caucasian, who become best friends in the years leading up to the Second World War. I definitely recommend it.

The Choice
Fiction by Robert Whitlow.
http://www.barnesandnoble.com
A great story about the choices facing pregnant teens, both in 1975 and in 2008.
This was a like two books in one; Part One was actually its own novel in a way. So I'm giving it two thumbs up.

A Change in Altitude
Fiction by Anita Shreve.

This was a story about a young married couple who are spending their first year in Kenya. Good book, although I didn't like the ending. (Not that I will give it away...)
The copy I read had a nicer cover >>

Let Darkness Come
Fiction by Angela Hunt.

Good legal thriller. It held some surprises and kept my attention.
Unlike normal people, who would probably read more while traveling, I have been reading less recently. I have a motion sickness problem that makes it difficult for me to read on planes and in cars; also I find traveling with children interferes with my reading a great deal.
Anyways, this book took me longer than it should have to finish, but it was still good.

Dreamcatcher
Fiction by Stephen King.
http://www.barnesandnoble.com
Okay, this is not Stephen King's best. Graphic grossness and extreme cussing aside, (which you kind of expect from this guy), this was just not a good story.
Or, you could say that the parts that were good were drowned in all the parts that were boring.
Definitely not as good as The Stand or Cell.
