Nonfiction by Jeanette McCurdy
Jeanette McCurdy was a Nickelodeon child star, but she didn't want to be. This book explores her abusive childhood with her ultimate-stage-mom mother, as it played out both in the spotlight and hidden from view.
This was a really good memoir, and I particularly enjoyed hearing it in the author's own voice.
