This book was not quite what I expected, but it was interesting and engaging. Maybe I'd call it a slow-paced thriller without a surprising ending? (just to contrast with last last review, ha ha, coincidentally also about a widow) That sounds kind of terrible, but it wasn't.
From the beginning you could pretty much tell what the ending would be, but the story still held my attention quite well, and the characters were great.
