After the Funeral

 Fiction by Agatha Christie

As the family gathers for the reading of Richard Abernathy's will after his funeral, his gauche sister blurts out, "He was murdered, wasn't he?"

Before that moment, no one had thought this was so; however, once Cora had said it, the idea became lodged in everyone's mind. And when Cora herself was murdered the next day, it seemed investigation was in order. It was up to Hercule Poirot!

This was an exciting mystery that keeps you guessing, as usual.

I also read recently by this author: The Secret Adversary
