In a Holidaze

 Fiction by Christina Lauren

Mae is 26 years old and feels a little bit stuck; she’s living back at her mom’s and the job that she thought she would enjoy has turned out to be a drag. But she loves the Christmas holidays, when her family gets together with two other families every year in a cabin in Utah, and so she goes into the holiday in December 20th with high hopes.

But December 26th she comes away feeling let down, and with the turn of a completely unexplained plot device, she finds herself repeating the whole holiday again, and again, Groundhog-Day style.

This was a fun and lighthearted story, but a little strange.

Hercule Poirot's Christmas

Fiction by Agatha Christie

https://www.barnesandnoble.com

A rich and rather crotchety old man decides to gather his family for Christmas, including in the party his two estranged sons, his two faithful stay-at-home sons, and a long-lost grand-daughter. Then just to spice things up a bit more, he decides to tell everyone he's about to change his will. Is anyone surprised when this rich old man gets murdered?

Oh, but which one of them did it? Only Hercule Poirot knows....

I read this a few years ago and it is hilarious! I decided to revisit it on audiobook this holiday season.

I definitely recommend it!

The Bridge

Fiction by Karen Kingsbury.

The Bridge
Oceans Aparthttp://www.barnesandnoble.com

A Christmas gift book.

This is all right for a light read, but Karen Kingsbury has some much better books.

"Oceans Apart" is good.

There's also "Divine" and "One Tuesday Morning," to name a few.
