A fun --and funny-- romance story.

Other books I've read recently by this author: It's Hard Not to Hate You
(I've also read The Accidental Virgin, which was funny and engaging as well.)

Dilemma

Subtitled: A Priests's Struggle with Faith and Love.
Nonfiction by Father Albert Cutie.

Dilemma: A Priest's Struggle with Faith and Love

Okay, first off... Is this dude not the HOTTEST priest ever???

Sorry. It had to be said.

But seriously, folks....

I was interested in this guy's story. I mean, leaving the priesthood for love? What's more romantic than that? (Besides the whole Prince Edward/Wallis Simpson thing.)

Anyways, this was a good book, although I skimmed some parts. I was definitely more interested in the romance than the spiritual crisis. Sorry. Just being honest.

A Woman Like That

Fiction by Susan Richards Shreve

A Woman Like That

This was a great book which I read in one day. Seriously.

It's not new (copyright 1977) and there's not much information about it on the page at barnesandnoble.com. But this was a really absorbing story about a tragic bunch of people.

I recommend it.

The Sisters

Fiction by Nancy Jensen.

Good story; the ending was not as I'd expected. It swept over a long period of time a little too quickly though.

The Dovekeepers

Fiction by Alice Hoffman.

The Dovekeepers
http://www.barnesandnoble.com

I've been working on reading this for three weeks. It's got a great premise; it's a historical novel about the fortress of Masada, where 900 Jews fled Jerusalem after it was destroyed by the Romans in  in 70 A.D.

But I just canNOT get interested in this book. I'm giving up halfway through.

Sorry. It's just too sad. Maybe if I were more intellectual...

The Giver

Youth fiction by Lois Lowry.

The Giver

My eighth-grade daughter is reading this book, so I thought I'd read it too.

It's one of those futuristic-oppressed-utopian-society books.

It definitely makes you think.
